Could this be one of the statements you are talking about. It's myopic, pompous, and lacking a single shred of understanding in terms of American society. You also have one message comparing drug companies to the anti-Christ.

between pd, gv, lw, ara, orpheus, the evil bunny and myself, we pretty much have the whole spectrum of opinions and views covered, noone is ever going to agree with everyone, thank GOD. if you cant deal with people having a differring opine as you, and only want people who will agree with you, then shut the fuck up about bush doing the same thing

I agree; I'll see if I can find some more who want to step in every once in a while to keep everybody in check.
one thing that occurs to me is that since this is an internet message board, we lose some important aspects of conversation: facial expressions, body language, tone.
i think in some cases a bit of hyperbole helps make a point that might otherwise be ignored or misread.
