That being said, I think what he did was wrong on one level, but that being between him and his wife. I think it was improper for a President to get a bj in the Oval Office, but not nearly enough to be removed from office. But again, that wasn't why he was facing impeachment.

Her case displays a double-standard. If the genders had been reversed, a male teacher would not have been given house arrest...he'd be in jail.

Boys "taken advantage of" in situations like this don't typically grow up with anything more than a chip on their shoulder...sure, they might have more misogynistic tendencies, but there are plenty of assholes in the world.

If listening to Loveline has taught me anything, this behavior with genders reversed would result in a girl growing up to be a stripper, a porn actress, or a whore. Plus, women run a risk of becoming pregnant...as I'm sure you know.

I'm not condoning that teacher's actions, but there is a big difference between an older woman seducing a younger boy, than a man seducing a girl. Even if it's just sociologically. Bill Maher called the former, "a coming of age story." I dunno...I just wish I had a teacher that was that hot...

It's the perjury that was the "legal issue". Lying about getting a BJ under oath or in a sworn deposition (Paula Jones) is illegal. Infidelity is a moral issue.

A poltician is expected to lie to the press and the people, that's their job. But if perjury is a jailable offense for us slaves, then it should be for our enlightened masters as well.

I've always felt that Clinton was simply stupid to commit perjury in the first place. No one would have really been shocked or anything given Clinton's history with women.

The real question, IMO, is why Clinton was being asked about Lewinsky in the first place. Who really cared other than his wife and daughter? All that money, time and headaches wasted on nothing.
