Police in Downingtown, Pa., are looking for a man who gunned down a person inside a car near a day-care center on Friday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m., police were called to the Ashbridge Square Shopping Center. Witnesses told police that a man walked up to a car parked behind a restaurant and fired at a person in the car.
The gunman then fled in a car.
Police have secured the area because it is near a day-care center.
Downingtown police say that the suspect is still on the loose, and they are not yet sure the motive.
The victim was taken to a local hospital and the person's condition was unknown.
This happened with about a half hour left in my school day. We're 1.5 minutes from this joint. We went into lockdown mode and heard helicoptors overhead. We thought someone was in the school. NOT COOL MAN !!
