I'd never heard of this before, but there have been plans for the "CanaMex" highway, a similar freeway built from the Mexican border to the Canadian border across Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, and Montana. The only reason I’m familiar with that project is that the proposed corridor goes within a couple miles of one my company’s projects in Wickenburg, AZ.
