It sucks that the thing died, but man is it fantastic to see one of these suckers alive on video. Apperently they may be much more common than previously thought.

awesome! I remember watching this documentary earlier this year with this i wanna say Australian? guy whom IS OBSESSED with these animals.

was very intriguing.

edit: it really sucks that probably killed her though, sure it is cool to see one alive finally, but it's not worth it if you kill it in the meantime.

Does that video look really funny to anyone else? Maybe my depth perception is off, but it doesn't look all that giant in the video.
