clear channel seems like a faaairly evil large corportation to me. highly conservative interests, controls alot of the market and caters to ridiculous groups like the AFA etc. but wasn't clear channel behind the VFC tour?

If Clear Channel had any part in the VFC tour it was simply that they own half the venues in the country and are HUGE in the concert promotion business. They certainly weren't otherwise disinterested sponsors.
