Is Biden the new Bush? Ineffectual and the horrors of when he opens his mouth.

Excerpt from a New York Times article on Biden,

He said he would bring more to the job than any of his predecessors, except possibly Lyndon B. Johnson. “I know as much or more than Cheney,” Mr. Biden said. “I’m the most experienced vice president since anybody.”

I wonder what Biden thinks about Obama's unpatriotic tax dodging nominees?

He thinks, "I'm 48 hours from some racist dipshit making me president."

Biden is funnier than Bush, generally. At least on purpose.

So, apparently Biden's wife let it slip that he had his choice of VP or Secretary of State:

I would have MUCH rather had Biden as SOS than Hillary. :shake:

I probably would too, but I'd MUCH rather have Biden as VP than Hillary, especially as a candidate before the election.

This assumes that Obama would have chosen Hillary as VP if Biden wanted SOS.

my intention was "having voted this team in"
but it was just some stupid facetious comment to begin with. I mean, this doesn't really make me think unfavorably of them.

I know, I was going for a PMA impression but it doesn't seem to be coming through.

Can someone tell me what is so terrible about this "slip"? What difference does it make that Biden was offered either position? Obviously Obama thought he was the most qualified person since he is now the VP, why be surprised he was offered a choice? I don't get it.

It is a bit odd to me, too. He offered him a choice of 2 posts where 1) VP is > than SoS and 2) he wasn't even elected yet. It would be MUCH more of a gaffe if Hillary clinton was on Oprah today and said she was offered VP but said "nah, give it to Joe, I'll take SoS". That would be hilarious (yet didn't happen).

Again, VP > SoS.

Not really any issue here.

You know, I really despise TV News. I watched some CNN today because it happened to be on, and they were trying to make a huge deal about this, and my eyes just wanted to roll out of my head. Fuckwads, all of them.

How can we convince people that they are hurting America by watching cable news?
