also Rian Malan "A Traitor's Heart" which is about a white South African coming to terms with 'his' past...excellent read.

The last book I read was John Stossel's "Give Me A Break" six months ago... Yeah, I don't read much.

If we're talking exclusively about non-fiction, and especially "News and Debate" related books, this is fine, but there is a similar "what are you reading?" thread in the Arts & Entertainment forum if we're just discussing novels or books in general.

Thanks.

my favorite recent non-fiction book is Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond - delves into the reasons why Eurasian civilization, as a whole, has conquered others and disavows the notion that this is due to genetic or moral advantages.

Do a little modding there, would ya'? :cop:
