What you should be pondering is how shear stress is related to axial stress, and how the hell axial stress results when shear stress is applied perpendicularly to the axis. CE homework makes me

Which would be more evil: killing every person on Earth, or killing every person on Earth but one? Would the former even be evil?
sounds like you're asking "would you rather be dead or the only one living on earth?" i definitely wouldn't want to be the only person living. what if i got sick?
