I guess this is implied by McP's post, but did the CLOUD thing involve increasing levels of emissions to see if they have an impact on the volatility of climate?

Here's another article, but generally experiments like this only test one factor at a time, so your concern may be valid.

Your caring on this issue has certainly fluctuated over time. :)

It's laughable that some of you pretend to know what you are talking about. Certainly, the people at CERN are light years smarter than all of you.

Do you even know what causes the weather? Do you know what contributes to Earth's temperatures? NO...YOU don't. So to propose some sort of legislation, which will restrict freedom and have a devastating economic effect, is just DUMB.

When you can prove that human emissions are the cause for weather volatility (30 years ago it was cold...then 15 years ago it was hot...now it's just volatile)...>THEN you can begin to have a discussion about changing behavior.

Until then....fuck off.

LOL. That's OK, for all my talk, I'm a bit of a leech myself. My employer's primary customers are governments.

Aliveguy, I know what is the main contributor to Earth's temperature: the sun. I'm a genius, sorry.
