There's been a state of emergency issued for Atlanta. There was a first tornado last night during the basketball game and a second one that just hit an hour ago. There's a line of supercells heading for the area still. This is really, really bad, and is expected to head for the Carolinas within the next few hours. All in that area please take care of yourselves.

Pretty scary hail storm came through this afternoon, worst I can remember. Loud as fuck with golf ball hail plus some bigger ones mixed in. Luckily no damage and only one strong round came through and thankfully no tornados. I admit to feeling very nervous there for a little while.

My boss is downtown right now. Her hotel was unscathed.

Reports coming in that the Ritz-Carlton was damaged. I mean, damn. I'll see if I can find some damage photos from the storms. What a horrible two days this was.

Philips Arena looks pretty cool. They should just leave it that way.
