I know. It's O' Reilly. But seriously. Does this guy look any more ready to be Commander in Chief than Ms. "I can see Russia"? Not much.

So it's safe to say that we can all agree that McCain won't be President for long? What if he kicks the bucket before November 4th? Then what?

Am I the only one who enjoyed the interview? It was very ammusing watching them try to act friendly and buddy-buddy with one another. And also interesting how much Obam attempted to appeal to conservative ideas.

It was amusing. I loved watching Obama squirm. At least O Reilly gave him more respect than Charlie Gibson gave Palin.

I'm sure Sean Hannity will treat her much more fairly.

Hannity reminds me of my Dad.
I love my dad but damn is he ever a Hannity, sometimes.

If he disagrees with what you're saying, he'll cut you off and raise his voice. Don't try to get a word in edge-wise at that point or you're SO off his Christmas list.

And don't ever get him started on commies. :shake:

lol...

Circa my sophomore year of high school (1990): Easter dinner at my grandparent's house, I mentioned the idea that China's economy was growing. And then I said something to the effect (in a sarcastic smart ass tone) that communism *might* be proving itself to be viable.

That's all I said, and I was verbally assaulted by my Dad at the dinner table. It became a HUGE deal. HUGE. There is nothing worse than being scolded like that in front of the whole family. So I was in tears by the end of the meal, just keeping my mouth shut, and think how very much like a commie my dad had been that day, by not allowing me to say what I said without such a horrible repercussion.

So I simply said NOTHING the rest of the day. Everyone had moved into the family room before dessert and my grandma and I were doing the dishes together. She leans over to me and whispers in my ear, "you speak your mind and never let anyone tell you to shut up like that ever again."

Then she slipped twenty bucks. LOL

My Dad has mellowed out a lot since then, but he went all sorts of Hannity on my sister last year for putting makeup on my daughter.

Us gals in the family call it his "war dance."
