Now seriously, the world nowdays is much more peaceful than in the past. I mean, europeans are not killing themselves! Thats quite a feat already. Step by step, we are getting better.

I know that but "upgraded" weapons scale things up a lot. Strangling or beating to death is much more trouble than "bang bang".

One thing is for certain, if world peace were even possible (which it is not), it would not come from Europe. That bleak continent has been the proud home to over 80 wars. Here are a few examples:

By way of comparison, North America has experienced a quarter of the amount of conflict Europe has, and many of those had direct ties to that continent. When you add to this glowing European reputation the wonderful experience native Africans and Indians had with European colonization, you have a pretty solid example of how not to conduct your affairs.

Well maybe the fact that you're 1 country and we're 1 continent with many different countries has something to do with it. One thing in our defense is that the war zones are shrinking and are limited to the former communist area, now former Soviet Union. We former Yugoslavian countries are done with it.

Actually, North America has 23 countries.

That is your only defense for fighting over eighty wars? That must be embarrassing.
