Yemenia Air flight 626/7 has reportedly crashed into the Indian Ocean with 150 people on board, according to a senior government official.

The plane is said to have departed from Moroni in Comoros at 1:00am local time heading for the destination of Sana’a in Yemen.

Either way, they fly a lot of old birds from a lot of different places. I think I actually flew on Yemenia once. Can't recall what the plane was...

But seriously. It was Yemenia Airlines... There may be NO FAULT to lay at the feet of Airbus at all for this one.

They found a child alive...incredible.

Now they are saying that the kid might not be alive.

I probably watched this plane fly over my head a few times. We used to patrol the end of the runway at night when Yemenia would be flying out of DJ. I still can't remember if I flew with them though. I do recall a flight from Addis that went from Addis, to Djibouti, to Sana'a, but I can't recall the airline.
