a blogger created skanks in nyc and posted pictures of a particular model and made some very unflattering comments about her, such as shes a whore etc..
the model got a court order for google to hand over the persons identity (though on blogger.com all that is needed to sign up is a legit email address) and her attorneys tracked her down.
now the mean-spirited blogger is sueing google for not protecting her identity enough
how far should your identity be protected on the internet. in my mind it would be the same as having someone paint your name and that you suck cock on a the side of a building. it will be up for a few days, but then someone would surely come by and paint over it. so to ask to have it taken down is not such a bad thing in the world of the net.
it seems many people feel the need to be an alter ego on the net because never in a million years would they say what they are saying if someone knew them or how it would affect their families
