LAKEPORT, Calif. - Three young black men break into a white man's home in rural Northern California. The homeowner shoots two of them to death — but it's the surviving black man who is charged with murder.
In a case that has brought cries of racism from civil rights groups, Renato Hughes Jr., 22, was charged by prosecutors in this overwhelmingly white county under a rarely invoked legal doctrine that could make him responsible for the bloodshed.
"It was pandemonium" inside the house that night, District Attorney Jon Hopkins said. Hughes was responsible for "setting the whole thing in motion by his actions and the actions of his accomplices."

Not in America, Americans love vigilante faggotry. That white guy is a fucking hero.

Prosecutors said homeowner Shannon Edmonds opened fire Dec. 7 after three young men rampaged through the Clearlake house demanding marijuana and brutally beat his stepson.
Edmonds' stepson, Dale Lafferty, suffered brain damage from the baseball bat beating he took during the melee. The 19-year-old lives in a rehabilitation center and can no longer feed himself.

How is this guy responsible for the murders? The prosecutors were just asking for controversy.

Shit like this pisses me off. I don't care what color you are, if you break in to my house, start fucking up my shit, and start fucking up my family, I'm going to shoot you.

"I didn't do anything wrong. All I did was defend my family and my children's lives," said Edmonds, 33. "I'm sad the kids are dead, I didn't mean to kill them."
Of course you meant to kill them. What were you supposed to? Shoot them in the leg and immobilize them after they invaded your home with the intent to inflict harm upon your family? Or maybe you could've called the cops? Yeah! They surely would've showed up on time and saved the day. Let's see how many people call me a racist because I'm actually defending my family.

Because he broke into someones house, nearly beat his step-son to death, and gave the homeowner an excuse to kill anybody that was involved. The burden of guilt squarely rests on the shoulders of those that perpetrated the home invasion.
I don't know California laws regarding this, but here in NY, if someone breaks into your house and they physically harm anyone within that dwelling, you have the right to kill whoever did it. And I would imagine that our gun laws are about on par with California's. These assholes were going after this mans MEDICINAL marijuana that he had a precription for. These were subhuman beings and quite frankly its damn shame he didn't get all three of them.

I know right. This is probably exactly what was running through his mind while three men were in his home beating the living shit out of his step-son with a fucking baseball bat.

And you are what for wishing the same thing to happen to me?

Absolutely. For you to sit here and say that this man should have just sat there and watched his step-son basically get beaten to death is worthy of you needing your fucking ass beat. And beat bad. Because that's about the only thing that would smack any sort of sense into and help you realize that the people who broke in deserved it, and that the burden of guilt lies on the men that broke in. The man who shot these assholes had every right to defend his family and use vigilanted justice to do it. Anyone who would sit there, and watch a loved one get beaten an inch within their life, and not do the same thing is fucking coward.

What's your idea of justice here? Be as detailed as possible. And do factor in the, "Well, I'm gonna sit there watch the three men beat my step son very close to death and not do anything about it because ya know...if I were to do anything about it, it'd be vigilanti-ism, and I can't do that. I'm not a trained professional. That's why we have cops."

I don't understand why anyone is being charged with murder. They three guys broke in and committed assault. The homeowner killed them in self-defense. Where's the murder?
