She won't be running for President in 2012 either. There's no way anyone would elect someone who quit their governor's job a few months before she could have simply not run again.

Gotta love the timing too. This doesn't reek of "I'm so confident in my decision and it's completely planned out!" More like, "Oh shit, when can we announce this so that the shit doesn't hit the fan completely?"

My take is that whatever comes out, they will play the "We're no longer in public life, just leave us be!" card.
