I have a feeling that not many of you will be interested to read this, and that's understandable. For those of you that are, here's the link to the entry in its entirety: http://www.astrologygetalong.com/menfro ... romsaturn/
For those of you of the "tl;dr" persuasion, some cliffnotes...
* Mars and Venus only the Beginning of the Story * Women are as martian as you can get * And the wiles of Venus have their ways with men too
Everybody has Everything Somewhere.
Uranus - Wild, Imaginative, Technological, Idea Maker, Revolutionary Uranus generates new ideas. But always ponder that those inexplicable things are just coming from a place that may not yet have the structure that Saturn is later going to give them.
Saturn - Law Making, Form Creating, Shaper, Judgment Declarer, Kicks Butt A few steps from most women's tents was not freeways, but the wilderness. And then the hubby comes home and drops the bloody kill to close to her domain. Do you thank him? No, you kick his butt.
Women make the structures of the world. And all the while, they make men care. Insist that they care. Women accept all those Uranian impulses men have and fit them into the structure of their daily and nightly lives. The mystery of women, that thing that men don't understand, could probably unfold itself to the light of day, if men would appreciate these Saturnine influences.
The Threshhold There is so much poetry here, I must conclude with this. The thresh hold was a board or stone or fresh straw at the front door, to stop the ugly outside dirt from moving in and intruding into the house. When a man takes a woman across the thresh hold, it is a symbol. A marvelous symbol. The home is yours and yours to rule, and I take you across the thresh hold as a symbol of our life together as a unit. We are a unit. I accept this structure and because of this structure, we will make a family and out of this a legacy will come.
I offered this as a basis to form an RM inquiry about the role of feminism in society. There's no right or wrong opinions on this, but I wonder what your thoughts are about this seemingly inherent structure of the relationship between men and women.
Discuss.

Thanks, yeah, the sigline came from an essay I read on Jungian ideas. Something about colors and symbols stimulating bifurcation of the psyche when presented at the right time.

I like Carl. I like his theories in sychronicity, archetypes, the buzzing of color and patterns when your eyes are closed and collective conciousness... in fact, I like alot of his principles...

edit: just saw your post. Shitting out bad eggs isn't the most proper approach.
Another noteworthy Carl:
Quote:
Some people think God is an outsized, light-skinned male with a long white beard, sitting on a throne somewhere up there in the sky, busily tallying the fall of every sparrow. Others—for example Baruch Spinoza and Albert Einstein—considered God to be essentially the sum total of the physical laws which describe the universe. I do not know of any compelling evidence for anthropomorphic patriarchs controlling human destiny from some hidden celestial vantage point, but it would be madness to deny the existence of physical laws. - Carl Sagan
On the idea of Saturnine influences, it's important that those establishing the boundaries necessary for a progressive environment are able to exhibit a fair amount of objectivity.

I love that Carl, too! I love the movie Contact ( which did open on my B-day) is an exceptional book and movie that tried to explain space travel. But in the end she ended up being greeted by her father in a spiritual sense. What a fantastic analogy... he was very close to the truth. But since he could not in his lifetime actually PROVE the God. Scientifically he had to deny "him".

But if you cant get them to reconcile, like I said such madness shall continue and they will try to force their ways. Not good... not that I want some sugar coated shiny happy people world like but we could at least move forward... We are all good and bad in nature that is just human. I say people that are induldging in actions are hurting only themselves is usually an easy fix. Anybody preforming any action that "hurts" other people, but when youre the assholes that your bad actions resonate and effect all of humanity and throws them into the shithole thats a different story.

edit: Another inquiry (for the guys) - Do you have enough faith in women to trust them to be completely objective? Why or why not?
Women are traditional thought of as the healers and nuturers. Putting them into "the big conversation" is imparitive. They are objective. When I hit the ceiling... all friggen men.

How do you 'get' someone to reconcile their ways without forcing them to some degree? Could manipulation be considered a peaceable coercion?
This is question that illustrates where I'm at on the Men are From Uranus idea. I suppose we have to ask the guys to be honest about how they perceive the nature of women.
