The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Your click provides the value of .6 bowls of food and care to a rescued animal in a shelter or sanctuary.

EVERY CLICK IS DOUBLED IN OCTOBER

Your click on the "Fund Free Mammograms" button helps fund free mammograms, paid for by site sponsors whose ads appear after you click and provided to women in need through the efforts of the National Breast Cancer Foundation to low-income, inner-city and minority women, whose awareness of breast cancer and opportunity for help is often limited.
http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/

EARLY DETECTION: DO YOU KNOW THE FACTS?

Each year, 182,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 die. One woman in eight either has or will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. In addition, 1,600 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 400 will die this year.

If detected early, the five-year survival rate exceeds 95%. Mammograms are among the best early detection methods, yet 13 million U.S. women 40 years of age or older have never had a mammogram.

The National Cancer Institute and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommend that women in their forties and older have mammograms every one to two years. A complete early detection plan also includes regular clinical breast examinations by a trained medical professional. Monthly breast self-exams are suggested in addition.

I'm a religious clicker too.

If you have firefox, put all the links in a separate bookmark folder. then you just have to choose "open in tabs" and all 5 sites will pop up. Click, click, click, click, click and you're done :D

How you and others are helping.

On Oct.26, you and others who clicked on the "Fund Free Mammograms" button funded 20.7 mammograms for underprivileged women. Remember that this number is doubled thanks to our Premier Sponsor! Last year, visitors' clicks at The Breast Cancer Site funded mammograms for 1,933 women in need. Together, we can do even more in 2004!

I clicked them everyday and you can also have them send you a reminder in to your e-mail to click on them each day, so that you don't forget.

Anyone slightly suspicious of these types of sites? It's sorta like the Yoplait donating money for cancer research thing. We'll donate, but you gotta buy or do something for us. It just doesn't sit right with me, showing everyone just how giving you are. It lacks sincerity for some reason.
