This town will be up in flames before the night ends.
is that a threat, union flusterer?
I have no quarrel with anyone. I worry about the thin veneer of civilization. Although, if Walker loses, I expect calmer streets. Old, civilized men do not tip over burning cars.

and MadTIGERmaN is the force of nature that will rip that veneer to shreds. it's only a matter of time.
I still get a good LOL at pasty useful idiots protesting an attempt to constrain the ability of a rent-seeking monopoly to extract rents in the most brazen and insultingly conspicuous way possible. Few things are as hilarious as legions of twenty-something know-nothings agitating for the privilege of supporting with their own modest incomes transfer payments that ensure Baby Boomers retain their immodest standards of living.
I think people were more stunned than anything. I don't want to sound like a dick, but it was pretty hilarious. You have Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow all giddy once the polls closed, and 45 mins later, jaws dropped, sorrowful eyes, "Whhhaaat? How can this be? Walker won already?"
I really don't know what kind of revolution MSNBC was expecting, but...

LOL at the end of democracy because federal workers lost collective barganing rights in Wisconsin and they weren't able to recall the Governor that did it.
Maybe the problem with American politics is that EVERYBODY is taking everything way too seriously.

But don't you see, Barack Obama being the first presidential candidate in history to turn down public funding and its constraint on general election spending in favor of unlimited private funding because he was so well-funded was evidence of democracy working.
Contrary to what they like to believe, partisan liberal idiots differ only in degree, not kind, with their partisan conservative idiot enemies. Neither deserve to be taken seriously.

Help me, thodoks, as you are one who is more politically savvy than myself.
I listened to Rachel Maddow last night say something along the lines of,
"If the unions are broken, they can no longer fund democratic candidates. The democratic party will have NO chance to compete with a giant like the conservative party. This is what's happening in Wisconsin right now. This is what the conservatives want and they succeeded."
Am I basically listening to some chick who is ignoring what you're pointing out?

Our political system is one of convenience not substance or prudance.
