The evidence that's leaked, which I have no reason to believe is made up, is:

34 year old nigerian immigrant who is a chamber maid walked into his hotel room around 1 PM. Shortly after, they had sex/she gave him a blowjob. She then ran out crying and distraught and immediately claimed rape.

The physical evidence is:
Semen in carpet
Blood on bed
Physical wound on DSK's back where she allegedly hit him with an object, creating the blood
He exited hotel room w/o his phone in a hurry
Numerous accounts of him being sexually deviant/harassing in the past

What is more likely? That he convinced a chamber maid to blow him at 1 PM in his hotel room then she spit his semen out on the carpet (that she then has to clean later), that the blood on the bed and the wound on his back are mere coincidences, that she planned the whole thing out from the moment she entered the hotel room to get money from him? That's a pretty elaborate story, heh? She didn't take a day or two to master plan it out. She reported it IMMEDIATELY.

On top of all of this, there has to be enough evidence to hold one of the most important politicians in all of french hostage in a NYC apartment. If they didn't have overwhelming evidence, there is no way they take the political risk with charging and detaining DSK. I'm sure there is a ton of evidence/corroboration to her story we have no idea about.

So yah, I think he's guilty. I think more likely than not, they throw a ton of money at her somehow and she refuses to testify.

And yes, Patrick Bateman, this is merely my opinion. I look forward to the man's day in court. However, an innocent or hung jury does not mean he didn't commit this crime. Plenty of guilty people get off just like tons of innocent ones are thrown in jail.

Man, I still don't know. I think it's probably just as easy that someone threw money at her to set up the situation. I'm not a conspiracy theory type, but seriously this seems all too weird. All of those details you listed could easily be exacted by some poor immigrant who is in need of money.
