Seems to me that if he's guilty, the maid would have his DNA under her fingernails and maybe hers under his. She did pick him out of a lineup. He left his phone behind and was apparently in a huge hurry to get out of the hotel.
Seems really likely that he's guilty but what a bizarre, odd, case.

If she was struggling the whole time and he forced her to have oral sex with him, why didn't she bite down on his penis? Like I said before, the reports make it seem like she was struggling the whole time. Since she reported it immediately, she would (will) definitely have his DNA under her fingernails. There is no way to fake that.
But yah, if he did do it, he's insane. It's not exactly a thought out crime.

I'll never understand why an organization should get a black eye because their leader did something horrible that is totally unrelated to the organization.
If he was embezzling funds from the IMF, that's one thing. But this? I don't get it.
Seems like just an excuse for people who are anti-IMF to be...anti-IMF.
Kind of like how this is a great excuse to hate the French.

True, true, but then Italy would probably call him a prude at this point with what's gone on there. I generally feel like people who treat women poorly like this generally are slimebag assholes in all facits of their lives so if this is indeed true I tend to believe he probably was doing something nefarious somewhere. I don't know if he did anything or not, it's odd that it happened as quickly as it did, that a 62 year old could force a hotel maid to do anything without some kind of weapon, that she wouldn't yeah, bite. Or, maybe one of them has some scratches or something from a struggle.
In all likelihood, simply another entitled asshole of a politician, but that said, the guy was a canidate for president in France and fairly popular.... maybe it was a setup??

Huh? You're way off here, the guy was the best chance for the left in the 2010 presidential elections, way ahead of anyone else in the polls. It's a big fucking deal over here. This might be enough to kill him (politically) even if he turned out to be innocent.

I was just going for the easy sexual joke before. I do know DSK was prolly going to run and he had a huge shot of becoming prez. It just makes the whole thing even more bizarre. How do you put all that on the line for sexual gratification? PAY A HOOKER YOU CHEAP BASTARD (assuming he's guilty).
Listen, if he did this, he is certifiably insane. You can say anyone who rapes is insane (or commits any heinous crime for that matter) but I think this crime would make him legally insane.
Who sits naked in a $3000 hotel room in the middle of the day waiting for the chamber maid to come in to YOUR ROOM to rape them?

IMO, he's already killed politically speaking, whatever happens now. I have mixed feelings about this stuff. If he is guilty, then he must pay for it, but given the almost fascistoid government we have now, a trap is not to be ruled out.

Definitely crossed my mind and I'm sure a lot of others.

Why would the U.S. want to take him down? Serious question.
