Re: the indefinite detention provisions in the defense appropriations bill:

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and FBI Director Robert Mueller both oppose the provisions as does the White House, which said it cannot accept any legislation that "challenges or constrains the president's authorities to collect intelligence, incapacitate dangerous terrorists and protect the nation."

Change.

If people would stop snitchin', it wouldn't be a problem. But seriously, WASP culture is already dead and their will be a new baseline for acceptable behavior from our politicians. Philadelphia is a perfect example of what the future of the US will be like in our lifetimes and if you think moving to England or New Zealand or Vancouver is going to protect you... well... your in for a surprise.

Or all future presidential candidates will be mormons.

If theres is anything to really be taken from the Iowa Caucus it's that we should go ahead and congratulate Barack Obama on his 2nd term.

This is going to go EXACTLY like mid term W Bush

I was thinking more like mid-term Clinton. It's actually quite amazing on how Obama's first term has closely mimicked Clinton's. For Obama's sake, he won't want the second term to similar.

I find it utterly remarkable that over 30,000 Republicans would actually vote for Santorum.

I wouldn't want to cheat on Michelle, you wouldn't want to cheat on Michelle.

I just think it's going to be 51% to 48% with 2% writing in or something to that effect. Pretty much split but going with the established because the opposition isn't really all that strong.

They find anal leakage more appealing than Mormons.
