My brother keeps getting his pants wet over Ron Paul, and if you even mention anyone else he goes into these wild ramblings about 9-11, the "one road" conspiracy (Making Canada, Mexico and the US all one country. Something about some sercret road being the proof or something? Because you can't drive from here to there now. I don't know too much about this one, I remember seeing it about 2 years ago and laughing my ass off after about 5 minutes.), and how Ron Paul is the smartest man in the world even though he doesn't believe in evolution.

overheard at the Y.
"We wouldn't be in a recession of Obama and Hillary would stop saying the economy is in trouble."

When discussing the possibility of $4-$5 dollar gasoline one of the ladies at work said she wouldn't be here when that happens. She firmly believes she will be raptured by then.

People like that deserve to be raptured, with extreme prejudice.

Over the weekend, I was in the kitchen having lunch, and as per usual, I had on Current TV. My mom wandered in, and then my brother. Current started a pod that was an abbriviated clip of on of McCain's campaign speeched.
My mom and I were both interested in what he had to say -- we're dems, but there's still a chance this man could be president, so we wanted to hear the speech. But my brother went APESHIT - screaming and cursing about how McCain was an idiot, and how "the media" is suppressing the ONLY SMART candidate (Ron "I don't believe in evolution" Paul). He would not shut up. The pod was about 2 minutes, he was still cursing and yelling for about 20. LMAO. He had a nice rant about 'change', so I said, "Change doesn't just happen! God has to do it!" He didn't get it though, and my mom kicked me out of the kitchen.
Paul's about to drop out. I think Jay's gonna crack. lol.

Is Ron Paul out of money? He might as well stay in and use it all if not. I imagine 80% or more of his supporters do not want that money to go to the Republican party.

A coworker today on the Mighigan primaries:
"The governor already said they're going to let the current vote stand and that they won't revote"
Me: I don't think they're going to let them seat those delegates when Obama wasn't even on the ballot because he followed the DNC rules at that time.
"Tough, he should have put his name on there, that's his own fault."
