Pretty much everything after the call is questionable. From what I have read no one saw the beginning of the confrontation, and no one knows what was said.
Questionable is reasonable doubt... which means he should not be found guilty.
Affirmative defense, brah.

Regardless of whether he actually committed of a crime, can't we all just agree that Zimmerman needs to be found guilty to avert a full-scale race war? The media is doing their job with the constant stream of slanted reporting. Why can't you peeps get on board? Why are you so worried about this dude? He's just another gun-happy redneck.
You gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette.

then who gives a shit? i actually wish he had more pot in his system, he probably would have leaned more toward the "flight" rather than the "fight" and would still be alive.
The presence of an illegal drug in his system, while he was out on suspension for possession of the very same drug, can be used to impugn his character and paint him as a run of the mill thug. The only chance for a conviction here is that manslaughter will be seen a compromise between acquittal (what any other defendant would get) and the unprovable and absurd murder 2 charge.
i know how they will paint him in court. but does him having weed in him look worse in your eyes? i could care less, i probably had weed in my system most of my 17th year of life.

it probably will considering his parents were screaming from the top of the hill that their son never did anything of the such. so if its implied he was doing something sketchy, who are you going to believe, the statement from the guy who was allegedly attacked or the parents who claimed their son was an angel and never did any wrong?

Depends. Was there enough to impair his judgment?
As someone pointed out earlier, who attacks someone simply because they are walking behind you?

Personally I don't care that he smoked, but he was serving a suspension from school for paraphernalia possession on school grounds. His parents claimed it was BS, but this shows it probably wasn't, and shows they didn't know their sweet angel as well as thought. It could be used to paint him as someone who doesn't give a shit about rules or consequences, someone who is more likely to be the aggressor.
It would be cool if there was some way both Zimmerman and Trayvon™, Inc. could sue the major news channels for ruining the chances of an untainted jury.
Let me preface this by saying I am glad this is now being handled in the courts. I was immediately, given the limited facts, on Zimmerman's side. But something about this video didn't seem right. I felt like I was listening to a liar. I wish I could elaborate more on why I feel that way but I'm just not so great with putting my thoughts into words.
I still think he will, and probably should, be found not guilty, but I don't know that I believe his story anymore.

According to some of the local police, his injuries are not consistent with his head being struck against the ground. They would normally have expected skull fractures.

No Martin DNA found on the gun. Would we expect DNA transferrance from incidental contact (assuming that anyone claimed that Trayvon held the gun at any time). C'mon folks, lets keep this alive. Maintain the divide between red and blue states.
