If Pedro signs with the Mets I'm sure he'll stink up the place just like all the other big name free agents the Mets have signed in recent years.

Pedro is just entertaining these offers hoping the sox will offer him more.

Two years ago a lot of people said Glavine was using the Mets and Phillies to get more money from the Braves.

3 years 39 million Is a lot for Pedro, especially considering this Isn't 1999, he can still pitch but hes on the downside of his great career, typical Mets though, hey Glavine and Pedro, party like It's 1999 at Shea

What because Pedro is 33, he is on the downside. Tell Roger he's on the downside of his carreer.

Your boys allready had him and let him go, he'll resign with the Sox, he just wants to start a bidding war!

No. I can see him staying or leaving, neither would suprise me. There's plenty of reason to believe either.

Pedro's on his downside because he can no longer consistently top 93 mph and can't get past the 100-105 pitch mark. I'm convinced his arm is going to fly off his body one of these days.

It is true about pedros velocity being down and this definitly isn't the same pedro that was pitching for us in '99' but there is no way the red sox can afford to lose a pitcher like him... He may not be the dominating pedro of old, but if the red sox were not to sign him, then who would they pick up... there aren't a lot of pitchers available that have proved that they can get it done year after year.... bottom line is he is still one of the top pitchers in the game and i can't see him not playing for the red sox next year so open up ur checkbooks and show him the money.........................

and on a different note, don't forget about one of the biggest leaders in that clubhouse.... 'Tek'.... so theo stop screwing around and just sign him too while ur at it
