I'm not really sure what to make of this. Last week while LeBron was trashing his ex-Cavs teammates for choking in the clutch, Dwayne Wade was writing an article for Newsweek about getting custody of his kids and how important a male role model is for boys.

I know nobody wants to hear this right now but Wade is a good guy. Beefore this season the biggest complaint about him was that he complained for calls too much, but he always said and did the right things off the court.

I agree with whomever it was that said it's waaaay to early for schadenfreude. With that lineup, and the inevitability of Riley's return, there's pretty much no way the Heat don't win at least one ring.

True. Which is why I found that whole "coughing" thing so blown out of proportion.

It was. But it was pretty douchey. Especially when you're losing to the guy your mocking. All anybody talked about down here was how un-Wade like it was.

I'm not denying he's a good guy off the court, and the coughing thing probably was blown a bit out of proportion. But it was also very immature, especially after the guy you're making fun of beat you. It was just another distraction the Heat didn't need.

It pales in comparison to LeBron's performance, though. Guy is the laughingstock of the world.

It's not like he grew up in Albuquerque. Akron's 30 minutes away. Fuck, I did all my elementary school field trips and college summer drinking in Cleveland. If Akron isn't part of the Cavs nation then nowhere is.
And sure, there are over the top nuts out there, but after The Decision, I think a little revelry in the Mavs' championship is appropriate.
Especially since the old home of the Cavs - Richfield Colesiuem - was actually closer to Akron than it was to Cleveland.
