They need playmakers everywhere. I'd go best player available really offense or defense.

What about Dwayne Allen or Orson Charles?
Why don't you go ahead and pick whoever you want--I'm not sure when was the last time you took an unclaimed team's pick.

Make it Dwayne Allen, TE Clemson then.

Yeah I like a move TE for the Rams. Pretty much every team needs one these days.

Think how far the TE position has come along thanks to the significant evolutions brought about by decade. Mike Ditka in the 60s, Kellen Winslow in the 80s, Shannon Sharpe in the 90s, and Tony Gonzalez in the 2000s. Will it be Gronk or Graham with the next wave this decade?

I'd put Marques Colston in that conversation as well since he was considered a "tweener" guy and the Saints found the perfect way to use him. I think one of the bigger developments is just flexing them out as flankers and split ends. It pretty much neutralizes the cover skills of most CBs and lets you put your #1 in the slot, basically making creating two huge mismatches for most teams with one little position flip. The Packers do this all the time with Finley and it kills.

Yeah I love Hernandez. Crazy that he was a fourth-round pick.

All he did was smoke his way out of the first two days. Will we be saying the same thing about Janoris Jenkins a few years from now?

ill be interested to see how Lance Kendricks develops this year, if they did take another TE early then they could end up with a monster combo like gronk and hernandez

I guess I'll take this pick for the Bills--let's give them Mohammed Sanu for more WR depth.

they just traded for flynn, a QB would have made zero sense.
