Good move by the Bucs I think, getting Martin. Still wish they would have gotten Claiborne, but good save at the end of the night.

Mark Barron is a fantastic safety though. He didn't get as much pub because the front 7 of the Alabama defense was so good.

Word on the street is that Colt McCoy and Mike Jenkins are on the trading block. If I'm the Broncos, I might trade one of their 4ths to get Jenkins.

Barron was my favorite Bama player the last 2 years. I still didn't expect him to go so high.

I can't believe how many good players have fallen, I can't believe the league let David Decastro fall to the Steelers.

I can't believe the Jets took Coples over Melvin Ingram (the John Abraham connection was right there) Ingram is going to play special teams and start like a Boss.

I guess with the amount of very good players in rounds 2 and 3 the Rams story will be played out today, but I kind of hated what they did after seeing a lot of mocks this year including our own. Not that I don't like Brockers, and Les Snead is a great FO person, I just thought they would go a different way.

Still can't believe Luke Kuechley is top 10. I know he's good, I just don't think he's so much better than Hightower or Upshaw.

The Rams have 3 picks between 33 and 45, I believe. I wonder if they'll go for Stephen Hill.

I think they'll go after him or at least get a TE and or an OL.

Cordy Glenn is the winner in that department. He would be a classic Andy Reid pick.

just looked him up. not only is he enormous, but he's an OT, and the eagles need help at safety, linebacker and dt. i'm like 99% sure this is gonna happen now.

this guy wasnt drafted...the eagles should move up in the 2nd to get him

What about Fleener at 33? And if they don't, will the Colts grab him?

They already have a Cowboys jersey with Claiborne's name on it? Looks like some kids in third world countries are getting a bunch of NFL gear pretty soon.
Or, not.

For first time ever, player jerseys were customized on site
Posted by Mike Florio on April 27, 2012, 9:54 AM EDT

Backstage last night at Radio City Music Hall, well before the Chiefs’ selection with the 11th pick in the draft was announced, I saw someone carrying a red jersey with white letters and yellow trim that had the name “POE” on the back. I resisted the temptation (unlike another guy in the media who repeatedly took a page from his apple-eating Biblical namesake) to broadcast the pick via Twitter. Besides, I was more curious about something else.

How many different jerseys with “POE” on the back were in the building, and how could I finagle one of them?

League spokesman Brian McCarthy has supplied the answer: None.

For the first time ever, Nike was customizing the jerseys on site. Thus, for any of the 26 men in the green room, a jersey would have been instantly prepared for any team taking any player.

Brian sent along the picture of the process, with the names of each player ready to be printed up and applied to the back of the jerseys.

So there will be no collector’s items this year or, apparently, in any future years, like the Colts jersey bearing the name and number of Ryan Leaf, which Dan Patrick has in his studio.

That's so cool. The NFL is hitting it out of the park right now. I love the way the league is going. Goodell has been a fantastic commish. They are ironing out the pro-bowl and this draft is one of the most interesting ever and the suprise trade factor is really fun thanks to the rookie wage scale.

I feel even better about the Julio Jones trade today than I did yesterday.

I'd think he would fit either team well I'm just not sure with the Colts. I know Arians likes to pass but I don't know how much he covets TE's. That said, they did let two good ones go so perhaps Fleener is a Colts target as well.

Yeah. With Clark, Tamme, and Garcon gone just seems like they need some weapons there.

I'm a bit perplexed. I figured Bill would trade out of the first entirely and take a TE tonight.

A few weeks ago I actually thought Barron might end up there. Glad one Bama guy made it though.
