Hopefully Heyward has something for them.

Livan has been great this year and he showed it again tonight, although he walked 5 and gave up a bomb. He's 4-1 and still has an ERA under 1.00. Our bullpen got out dueled tonight. Also, can we give Nate McClouth back to Pittsburgh?

You know Adam Dunn was available and we got who to play left? I'm so pleased with Garrett Anderson and Melky Cabrera. Yes his defense was so suspect.... nevermind that the guys you got can't hit for shit and Garrett was probably worse on defense.

1st 3rd Center and Left are killing the team right now.

I like a lot of the things Frank Wren has done, but geez man, this line up sucks.

Booby Cocks would have been better.

This team SUCKS Cocks.

Bobby.... HELLO!! the SQUEEZE Is legal!!!!

Be agressive for once!

You knew they would leave consecutive runners on 3rd with double plays.

It's what this group of garbage does.

Fire Wren, Fire Scherholtz, Fire Mcguirk. Blow the whole damned front office and management out with Cocks.

Two phrases I'm already tired of hearing connected to this team:

1. It's still early.
2. Sometimes you've got to tip your hat to the other team.

Okay so the umpire may have been generous to the Nats last night. But you've still lost something like 14 of the last 20.
As awesome as Heyward is he should not be the most talented or clutch guy on the team at this point in his career.

5 years of abject failure and 10 years of middling bullcrap mean it's not still early.

The hats are tipped off. The buzzsaw teeth are dull.

Bobby was quoted by Carroll Rogers as saying "Zimmerman really put on a show"

Bobby. Zimmerman over threw 1st base and short hopped a throw from 3rd to 2nd base and would have given the game away if your team didn't suck so fucking hard.

Being shut out happens to everyone at least a couple times a season. A complete game shutout by a 57 year old pitcher in a pillbox of a stadium? Bloody hell. Oh, and it was a two hitter? Our $15 million/year pitcher has an ERA over 6 and our All-Star catcher is blind? Fuck me. When is the Falcons' pre-season opener again?

Mini Camp is today.

OTA's start in late July.

Relevant sports begin again in September.

In just over a month the braves have 2 everyday players playing at a major league level and one of those guys is a 20 year old rookie.

The management needs to fall on the sword and or someones ass needs to be shitcanned.

The Red Sox have money to spend and have had success in the last decade. This team hasn't.

Dear fan of team that won their division 14 years in a row,

It can be worse. A lot worse.
Relax.

Sincerely, detroit lions fan.

There was a time when I hated Braves fans just as much if not more than people with Bush/Cheney stickers on their SUVs.

You guys have one of the top young pitchers in the national league, and probably the best young positional player in the game.

Patience.

I love the pitching for the most part outside of Lowe and Kawakami. I'm trying to be patient.... but 5 years worth of scraping for every run and watching guys hit in to inning ending double plays with the bases loaded.... it's just awful.

I'll stop bitching so much. Sorry.

bitch all you want.
its not awful... its just not what you're used to, and it could be a lot worse. As a red wings fan, i understand you can become a bit complacent and success becomes expected. I will also tell you, as a detroit tigers fan there was nothing.. NOTHING more magical in sports to me then when they came out of nowhere in 2006 to make it to the world series.

enjoy the journey, dont worry so much about the destination.

I know 1991 was probably the sweetest sports year I've ever been a part of that and the Sid Bream slide in 1992. Same kind of deal I guess.
