Great fight last night. I thought Berto was gonna pull it out late but he was gassed and the last 4-5 rounds had a ton of holding.
The Kahn fight was awful, he never impresses me. He turns and runs every time he gets hit hard, he loves to clutch and hold and he has absolutely no power. He has great speed and throws some nice combos but last night I didn't think he landed many clean shots. I would have liked to see that fight go longer.

i agree. khan is nowhere near the level he or coach roach think he is. it looks to me as if he's trying to do an impression of floyd at times, where he thinks he's so fast he can throw that lead right hand, but he rarely lands it with the accuracy floyd does.

I would love to see him fight one of the guys from the other fight last night, I know technically they are bigger....but they are close enough that they could do it. In any case...I think either of those guys absolutely destroy Kahn. I don't understand the whole Kahn infatuation, I guess Golden Boy is doing a good job promoting him. He honestly is the least impressive big name I have watched over the last 3 years.

kinda weird they already made an offer to marquez for a pac fight in the fall. they've never done that before, making an offer for a future fight before manny got the current fight out of the way. i wonder if it will result in a jinx of some sort.
Arce looked good. he had a great entertaining fight.
main event was a bit of a stinker. i think manny did everything he could to make it an exciting fight but mosely knew it was too dangerous to go toe-to-toe. surprised manny couldnt finish him off after he knocked him down. not the most active manny tonight either (sounded like he had lg problems)...he didnt seem to turn it on until he got a knock down against him. lol - manny was pissed. kenny bayless really effed that up but just made the fight a bit more exciting.

The only thing I know is Marquez will never run like Mosley did. He'll either make it a close fight through 12 or get knocked the fuck out but it will be very entertaining to watch.
Marquez will be fighting David Diaz at 140 sometime in July. Let's see how he carries the extra weight this time.
here's a another taste of some crazy boxing news...
Quote:
...Mexican billionaire and telecommunications mogul Carlos Slim Helu dangling 65 million greenbacks for Manny Pacquiao to pack his bags and take on Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (36-0-1, 26 KOs) in Mexico...
If I was Pac...I would take that in a heartbeat. Canelo is nowhere near Pac's level and would be a real easy 65 mil. but...no one wants to see Pac in another easy fight.

TJ, you're gonna hate me for this, but it's the truth: I enjoy one-sided Mayweather fights way more than one-sided Pac fights.
I don't hate you for saying that. As much as I love Pac...I want to see him challenged. It's better for boxing when it's top fighter actually has to work to win all that money he's getting.
Mayweather fighting Ortiz? That sounds real good.
