I'm so tired of B-Hop. The last entertaining fight I saw of his was Pavlik.
I'm slightly glad at the way he lost the belt tonight, mostly because I think he faked it.
DeMarco-Linares was awesome.
Just got home from working ringside at the fight at Staples tonight. Hopkins flopped. My 75 year old mother could've gotten up after that fall. DeMarco-Linares was a blood bath.
It's kind of sad, really. What other reason but lack of money can he have for carrying on? He's got less than nothing left to give in the ring.
I'm looking forward to seeing Donaire this weekend. That and the first episode of 24/7. Plenty of interesting fights coming up before the end of the year.
I just started contributing there like a month ago. There are some interesting pieces on classic fights and fighters and a little bit on current boxers as well. If you find it appealing at all you can subscribe/like on fb/follow on twitter/write comments/leave feedback/etc. Your interest will certainly be greatly appreciated.
Two years ago would've been the best time to do it. They're still awesome and far ahead of everyone else, but they're no longer at their best. If it happens next year, it will still be worth it.
well...its here. Rafa is prolly already in Vegas meticulously washing his balls before enjoying what i hope will be one hell of a fight despite the lopsided odds.
who would Smokin Joe root for?

Oh c'mon, Rafa...if anything...it could have been a draw but JMM did not win that fight. Not as much exchanges as I wanted but the naked-except-for-sombrero Max Kellerman interview of JuanMa was hilarious...you can clearly see Kellerman look down to see if he can see JuanMas junk.

I really like Marquez, he was a beast against Katsidis and Diaz. I don't think he won the fight though. It was a great tactical fight, both guys were tentative and had some problems....neither hurt the other. I think Manny won more rounds, I think he forced the action and controlled a the majority of the fight. I'm not taking anything away from Marquez, he fought a great fight but he did nothing to win it, know what I mean? He didn't go after it. It was definitely a close fight. I had Manny winning by 2 points. What ever happened to the old saying that if you want to take someones title you have to clearly beat him? I don't think that happened in this fight. I don't think anyone can say JMM won that fight without a doubt. To take a mans title thats what you have to do.
