They're batshit crazy. Killing the goose that lays the golden egg because they're greedy fucks. Especially after what a great season we just had. Unbelievable.

the last sentence made me lol.

On Thursday, Jay Glazer of FOX reported that former Browns defensive lineman Shaun Rogers may visit the Redskins.

Multiple reports since then have indicated that, indeed, Rogers will visit the Redskins.

Chris Russell of ESPN 980 was the first, as far as we can tell, to report that the Redskins will meet with Rogers on Friday. As we recently explained, veterans with four or more years of service who are released between now and March 3 become free agents and can sign with another team.

Rogers can play nose tackle or end in the Redskins’ 3-4 defense. His presence could make Albert Haynesworth expendable.

so paying somebody else makes him expendable? really? it wasn't his indifference to the profession that pays him more than anybody else at the position? glad we've cleared that up.

Some of what they want though NEEDS to happen. Most notably, a rookie scale/cap.

so this means we'll have a clear idea of who to blame if they dont agree to arbitration?

Arbitration may be the wrong word. They've agreed to mediation, which is non-binding.

not really, they both agreed to mediation to hopefully productively lead the discussion...to avoid....what Jerry Richardson did the other day.

A lot like the beginning of wedding crashers.

I see Bob Sanders got cut. He has to easily be one of the most overrated players of the past decade.

Bill Polian was just too stubborn to think that he was an every down player. If they rotated him with Melvin Bullitt and Mike Doss back in the day, he would have been far more healthier and productive.
