I feel that the only stupid thing Chaney really did was open his mouth.
If he hadn't said to the press the day before that he was going to put in a goon, none of this would be on the news right now. Obviously, it was inflamed because the St Joe player landed funny and ker-snapped his arm.

It's a fact of life in sports that there will be retaliations. Every basketball coach in America has had a player foul an opponent on purpose before. I didn't think that any of the hits that Temple player laid were *that* bad anyway.

I don't see the big deal. War Coach Cheney.
