He just said he was out maybe the whole year, maybe longer. He's tired of everything, he says.

Steve Phillips just said the best thing Bonds could do is walk away from it all.

He probably tested positive for roids and MLB is pushing for this to keep it quiet.

"I really don't have much to say anymore," Bonds said. "My son and I just going to enjoy life. My family's tired. You guys [the media] wanted to hurt me bad enough, you finally got there.

"You wanted me to jump off the bridge, I finally have jumped. You wanted the bring me down, you've finally brought me and my family down. Finally done it. From everybody, all of you. So now go pick a different person. I'm done. Do the best I can, that's about it."

Again putting the blame on the media. It's the media's fault that you have to recover from 2 knee surgeries.

Poor Barry. Everybody is always picking on him.

couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

he needs to stop blaming the media for everything wrong in his life.

did he take the time to blame the media for his oversized head and shrunken nuts? what a douche complex this guy has. i hope he never plays again.

so now that the media has slayed this cocksucker with a microphone, can we please devote the rest of this thread to talking about how kick ass my minnesota twinkies are going to be this year? :)

its really frustrating when you have to go back to working out without the use of steroids. I know from firsthand experience. you don't have the energy, the strength, the endurance that you do when on the juice. It's getting the best of him, being that he now has to workout as a regular dude instead of a roided up monstrosity. He is gonna start getting fat, old and weak before our eyes and I'm gonna enjoy every second of it.

Steve Phillips seemed really mad at him during the ESPN broadacst today. Where as Gary Thorn, I think, said after things clear over he;ll try and come back for all that money.

Personally I think hes got too much on his mind, lying to the jury, telling his x gf, and realizing his head's about to explode and hes depressed now becuase I'm thining he realizes there's no way out.

Most ppl get whats coming to him.

I think Barry saw the handwriting on the wall after McGwire self detonated his own reputation on live TV last week.

Since when was his family involved in any of this? Sounds like he's now trying to play the guilt trip card.
