If he doesn't spend the whole year in AAA you mean? Last I read he was going to be sent down.

yeah, shortstop. sorry, i have no idea why i typed first baseman. morneau will be the man who hits 40 homeruns from that position.

sent back down? he's hitting around .390 is spring training. he's 3 for 3 on stolen bases. it's his job to lose this week. he'll be the opening day starter, barring injury.

actually, I'm not sure if he's eligable. I dont know how many appearances he had last year

this should actually be a good year for AL rookies, with Bartlett, Reed, Macpherson (if healthy), Swisher, plus i'm sure 1 or 2 others will step forward.

Watch Gavin Floyd... it's a long shot, but he's just been given the 5-slot in the Phils rotation... if he succeeds, he can go the distance
