the illini can't make a 17-3 run at the end of regulation without giving them some credit for that. granted arizona made a few mistakes but it was Illinois performance that caused those mistakes.
Amazing performance by Illinois and a fuckin brilliant game.

If it was a brilliant game they wouldn't have been down 15 in the first place would they? Or was that part of the plan?

I was talking about the game as a whole, not just the Illini's performance. It was a great game to watch.

If the Illini would have lost, I would have been very sad. My goodness, that was a nerve wracking game.
Thank god that Arizona player waited too long at the very end of OT to shoot. hehehe

No shit. Did he not know how much time was on the clock? He acted like there was about 30 seconds.
I was getting nervous when that player got up to the 3 point line, because I was sure that he was going to shoot. Then he stepped back and kinda "stood" there. I knew that he was going to run down the clock, but I wasn't expecting him to be that far back. I'm not sure if he knew how much time was left, you'd never know by the way he was acting.

The whole time I was waiting for them to pass it to stoudamire and when they didn't i figured something went wrong with their execution.

It was a great game. I've never been a big fan of college basketball but Illinois this year has been the exception. I hope they go all the way.
Besides being a hometown team for me, they play the way it's supposed to be played: A team game. More than I can say about a lot of other college teams and most of the NBA (hence the Olympics debacle)

Personally i don't no what people think that they are this great "team" team. They have absolutly no bench, all that it is 4 good players, and i wouldn't even consider powell all that good. Just because a team passes well doesnt make them a good "team". But thats just my thoughts.
