I'm happy to see the Sox and Pats mentioned in 4 of the top 10 games, 3 of them victories!! I was sitting roughly 25 feet away from where the Ortiz home run landed in game 4, what a night! I can't wait for Sunday night, as the greatest rivalry in sports starts up again

Pretty good list. I'm biased, but there's not enough hockey on there. Even just from last year's playoffs the Vancouver-Calgary game 7 or Philly-TB game 6 could easily be in there. Not to mention some of the games from the '98 and '02 Olympics. Pats/Rams at number 2? No effing way. The last 5 minutes or so were great, but it was a snoozer before that. If we're talking about great endings then sure, but the game as a whole wasn't that exciting at all.

Did I just miss it or did the Jets-Dolphins monday night game from a few years back not make the list? It was one of the greatest MNF games ever.


Oh and how could they rank the tuck-rule game better than the Music City Miracle?

75. 2003: Arkansas 71, Kentucky 63 (7 OT)
There have been two seven-overtime games in Division I football and Arkansas has played in both: a 58-56 win over Mississippi and this one, which was a ho-hum 24-24 tie through regulation. The Razorbacks outscored the Wildcats 47-39 in OT.

47. 1998 Big 12 championship: Texas A&M 36, Kansas State 33 (2 OT)
K-State was 11-0, ranked No. 1 and needed a win to advance to the Fiesta Bowl and a shot at the national title. The Wildcats led 27-12, but the Aggies tied it. The teams traded field goals in the first OT, K-State kicked another in the second OT, but A&M connected on a 32-yard TD pass to ruin K-State's title hopes.

37. 1998: Tennessee 28, Arkansas 24
Tennessee was 8-0 and ranked No. 1. Arkansas was also 8-0. The Razorbacks shocked the Neyland Stadium crowd by taking a 21-3 lead. The Vols clawed back to 24-22, but Arkansas had the ball and the chance to run out the clock. QB Clint Stoerner tripped and fumbled with 1:43 left, Travis Henry ran five straight times and scored with 28 seconds left, and Tennessee went on to win the national championship.

NASCAR's most popular driver finally won the big one, even slapping high-fives with crewmen from other teams after the victory.

In front of 90,000 fans at the Rose Bowl and with 40 million television viewers watching, the game was tied 0-0 through overtime and headed to penalty kicks. With the shootout tied 4-4, Brandi Chastain booted home the winner.

I don't see how game 7 of the 2001 W.S. and 1997 W.S. are not the highest ranked baseball games.........

Both should be ahead of the 2003 and 2004 ALCS games.
The game in the 2002 W.S. when the Angels came back from 5-0 should be above the ALCS games as well.

2 of my favs that i can think of waas thanksgiving when leon lett fucked up and the dolphins beat dallas in the snow..or when the dolphins beat the broncs 2 years back when elam had that field goal to put denver ahead but fiedler took them down the field in X seconds and mare hit like a 50 some yarder with no time to win it

As great as that was, I still believe the other drivers let him win. I remember seeing the end of that race and thinking "Why doesn't anyone else seem to be trying?"
