was alright, decent but not great. Gotta get the DVD when it comes out pretty sure i'm in the movie. I was at one of the games when they were shooting it, and I was sitting on the green monster. They show a clip of the HR going over the monster and a small blurry me will probably be visible if i pause it. Anyways.... Hollywood is amazing, they can make anything look real.... I hate to give the ending away but... they actually had the red sox winning the world series, amazing.

what's gay is tthey went back and changed the ending of this film after the Red Sox won the goddamn World Series,Fallon and Drew Barrymore were on the field filming shit in St. Louis after game 4.
the Sox were supposed to be the perenial losers. and it's an adaptation of an English piece about a kid following Manchester United.

Wait.
What is this?
I'm looking it up now.
Oh, sweet mother of fucking bullshit, this classic English tale of football fandom turned into a Farrellys American baseball flick?
That's it. The Farrellys have always gone for low brow humour, and have gone after a fair few dubious targets, but this really is it. I'm throwing away my Something About Mary dvd.

Sad, isn't it? I'm really amazed Hornby is allowing his name to be linked to this.

I saw it with the girl friday nite. It wasnt bad. I would have liked it more if it would have cronmicled the redsox season alittle more. But i am a diehard. Would have like to have heard Falon cry about grady little all winter like i did. Would have liked to hear his take on the nomar trade and them playing 500 baseball for 3 months. Its just a chick flick with a sports team in the back ground. It would have been virtually the same movie and ending had rivera been able to close out just one of the games Really has nothing to do with the sox season at all. And what was up with that fictious come back game against the yankees in Sept. when hes doing Drew? Come one now, please stick to the facts.
