One of Rick Hendrix (owner of Jeff Gordon and Jimi Johnsons cars, and others, not sure about what all cars he owns) planes crashed before the race today, it was announced at the end of the race as jimi johnson won, and rick hendrixs son, daughter and some other close family was on the plane and I don't think there were any survivors

Condolences to all of their families. I don't like the Hendrick's drivers, but this is very sad.

This is a tad personal for me, as one of the sophomores in the dorm here knew Dorton personally through her father, who was his good friend. Let's keep all those affected in our thoughts.

it's always hits me so much harder when it is a small plane that crashes, and you know all of the victim's names and stuff....like the payne stewart plane crash.....RIP....my prayers go to the families...
