Please, God :?

I can't exactly figure out what's missing. It's like they always need about one or two more runs, and never get them.

What bat would you trade? Soriano?

Pick 2, any 2. Mench, Soriano, Gonzalez, Young, Blalock..whoever. They've tried this hitting philosophy for the last 15 years, see how far they've gotten?

pssh, there's no way they're trading young, blalock, or mench.

No, but they should. They're not because they're stupid and think that the big bats are the key to winning championships. I remember the days of Palmiero, Canseco, Palmer, etc. Those teams had the exact same problems as this one. At least they've got Buck on the bench.

yep, the rangers were stupid to draft teixeira and blalock, and also to take young over abernathy in the toronto trade.

I never said drafting those guys was stupid. They've done a great job at developing offensive players, what's why a few of them are expendable.

I'm saying that holding onto as many bats as they have while running Chan Ho Park and Ryan Drese out on the mound is stupid. There's no way Pedro Astacio holds it together for the full season either. His last decent season was 1997. They desparately need pitching help, desperately.

sort of off topic, but it hurts to think that the sox drafted teixeira out of HS in the 8th round but couldnt sign him. he'd look real good in fenway.
