i don't pay close attention to teams that aren't in the a.l. central. my boys are 5 games back of the chisox.
any big developments or surprises i should know about?
are the chisox a fluke?
will clemens pitch for the yankees?
will the real randy johnson pitch for the yankees?
can the d-train keep this up in the second half this time?
will bonds play this year?
will the gambler contend for the cy young?
what else should i be asking?

In five years, when you get laid and grow up, you should go back and read some of these posts and if you've turned into a decent person you'll realize how much of an asshole you sound like right now

SPECULATE !!!!!
Developments: Clint Barmes, Brian Roberts. Holy cow!
Chisox: No. They play baseball the right way. As long as their pitching holds up, they'll take it all the way. They remind me of the 04 Red Sox a lot.
Clemens: I don't think so. Why would he move when he can pitch pro baseball and watch his kids at the same time? Astros will pick it after the break anyway, watch.
Randy Johnson: How old is he, 42? A 3 year contract for a pitcher of his age was idiocy, though not quite as bad as Giambi or Brown's contract. You ARE seeing the real Randy Johnson.
D-Train - I traded him in FBL earlier this year banking on the idea that he won't. I think he will stay effective all year, but expect him to slow down and end up with 15 - 17 wins and an ERA in the upper 3's/lower 4's.
Bonds - no.
Rogers - absolutely not. You've got to be kidding me!
Other things to note - Move or contract the Rockies, sell or contract the Devil Rays. Those teams are a joke.
If the Cubs figure out their closer situation (will be done by the break, one way or another) and get Wood back, look for them to go on a run.
Peavy (or Myers if Phillies can win games) and Bedard (or Halladay if Orioles fade) = Cy Young
Brian Roberts (or A-Rod if Orioles fade) and Derek Lee (or Abreu if Phillies make playoffs) = MVP

There are some things that are written in the stars. One of these is the Chisox's second half collapse. It happens every season. Minnesota will end up winning the division by at least 10 games.
