Now I know what Our friends in bosotn experienced for so many years, I never realized pedro was this good, mostly because I never saw him much.

Great game from Pedro tonight, but man would I love to finally have a no hitter. We are so due already.

I always used to hate Pedro but he seems very likable on the Mets. I root for the Mets as my 2nd team and since Seattle sucks i've been following the Mets a lot this year. They're a shitload more fun to watch than the Yankees. I'm happy for the Mets fans

The NL East is fun this year. Anyone could win it.

Even as a Braves fan, it's nice to see the Mets actually get what they paid for for once.

it would be cool to see the Mets get that first ever no-no, but its equally as cool seeing so many mets get SO close (right Seaver?) and have it not happen, almost like fate wont allow it....speaking as a non-mets fan that is....

I almost called my brother at the end of the sixth but thought better of it. I talked to him this morning and he said he thought about calling me too but decided against it for fear of the jinx.

Its bad enough he and I can never go to Shea to see Pedro pitch again. We went twice to see him pitch this year and he Mets lost both times. I'd feel really bad if I jinx'ed his no-hitter on top of that.

he probably saw the LA and got confused, knowing that the dodgers are the real LA team.

What really kills me is that guys throw them after they leave. Ryan(x7), Seaver, Doc, Coney and I think Mike Scott might have thrown one too. Is Kazmir next?

Yeah Mike Scott pitched a no-no to clinch the NL West in '86. Nomo is another that pitched one after leaving the Mets. Hampton I think too. There is also a bunch that pitched no-hitters before joining the Mets. Kenny Rogers for one.
