To clarify, I don't hate baseball, I actually love it... but the 'dumb' statistics (like that Pedro has the fourth most wins as a visiting pitcher in Yankee Stadium) piss me off because they're on every major media outlet and you can't escape them.

2. As a player you can munch on snacks during the game
4. The only thing better than attending a day game during the hot summers is attending a night game beneath the lights

I once saw Tony Tarasco having a cigarette in the dugout before playing a game. I was so mad I didn't have a camera.

i agree about your point, but disagree with the usage. i think this occurence is just another thing that happens in the game of baseball that someone who might have watched ten thousand games might not have seen. what's great about it is it happens all the time, whether it be birds getting hit by fly balls or pitches, a game being canceled due to locusts, an unassisted triple play, a guy hitting two grand slams in one inning or a bunt double. weird ass things happen a lot, things you might not ever even think about, and it's great.

baseball isnt physical enough, nor is it as physically demanding as other sports like hockey or football. its a great sport, but not even close to being my favorite

ok, heres some things i love about baseball

you can play when its 95 degrees out and not feel like you're going to die

you can get a tan while playing

its the only sport that all of my friends will play

some of the best nights of the summer are spent while at a baseball game
