There's no way the Pistons lose two straight games at home to lose the Finals. If the Spurs win it, they either win it in 6 or 7.

Message to the Pistons:

If you continue poor play in the paint, you will lose to the Spurs. Miami's 1 and 2 guards were not consistant in the final games of this series... do not expect the same against the Spurs, who are deep as hell. Chauncy Billups will be shadowed all series long by Tony Parker who is quicker than he is, Tim Duncan will dominate whoever is put on him and Manu will make whoever is matched up on him foul out in 5 minutes because of excessive flopping.

Oh and by the way...

GO SPURS GO

The Spurs have won more games than any other NBA team in the last 8 years... thought that was kinda cool

I haven't seen too many Spurs' games, but does Manu really have the Sean Battier-syndrome of flopping and getting all the calls?

The pistons bench sucks. I had $500 on the Pistons in this series and the bench really worried me. Everytime Hunter was on the floor i cringed. I think it will be a very good series. I will not bet a series winner. I'll bet it game by game for sure. If i had to pick I'd say Spurs in 7

I think the Spurs will either sweep or win in 5.

Its fundamentals vs fundamentals in a way, and the Spurs are more dominant. I think the Piston guards will be outplayed at every corner...

I never thought I'd ever think or say this but... GO SPURS!!!

I probably won't watch the finals, but I'll read the papers

He really does... and this is from a guy who goes to 30 Spurs games a year... I really don't have a problem with it because he's really good at it and it helps the Spurs... you have to really be paying attention to tell (most of the time) because he's gotten really good at it, but he falls to the ground a lot... I remember he was coming off a pick set by Steve Nash and he hit the ground like he was tackled by Ray Lewis... Nash is like 2 inches tall... I think I have a paperweight that weighs more than Nash...

But anyways, watch him in this series... I'm sure since the Pistons have good size they'll be setting plenty of picks on him and he'll hit the ground plenty... he doesn't do stupid dives like soccer players do that make no sense, but he could probably stay on his feet for some of the things he hits the ground for.

No matter who wins this series, perhaps the Pistons will finally get the respect they deserve from their detractors -- I think they have more than shown they were deserving of the Championship last year.

I don't have a problem with it either. If he gets the calls, more power to him. It's like the argument during last year's ALCS when A Rod tried to bat the ball and everyone called him a cheater. Whatever works . . .

We sent A.I. packing, retired Reggie Miller, and beat the supposed second coming of Shaq & Kobe.

I think we're doing pretty good right about now.

No matter what, people are still going to find reasons to say the Pistons are lucky. Like I said earlier last month, they said the same thing about the Patriots.
