turns out Gagne does NOT need TJ surgery and will resume throwing a ball as early as SIX MONTHS!!!

He sure was. On the card I have, it says "Tommy is an avid basketball enthusiast," and there's a picture of a little cartoon guy with a baseball glove and a basketball.
