Draft is coming so I figured I'd start a thread.

Who do you think will be suprises in the draft?

Better than anticipated:
Julius Hodge
Joey Graham
Raymond Felton
Antoine Wright
Deron Williams

Suprisingly bad:
Marvin Williams
Francisco Garcia
Jarett Jack
Rashad McCants
Channing Frye

I think the following guys have "bust" potential:

Hakim Warrick
Marvin Williams

Guys I think who might exceed expectations:

Nate Robinson
Sean May

i think sean may will be a surprise. i really dont but into that he's " too small" stuff. i dont think he is a lottery pick but definitely a mid first rounder.

what do you guys think of andrew bogut? i have only seen dude play one time and that was when utah got eliminated in the tournament. Star in the making or Bust?

I don't like May at all, he spent this season pushing all those college kids around under the basket which is not gonna happen in the NBA. He might end up a 10-6 per game guy but thats as good as I see him being.

Bogut is ok, I'm not sold on him and would not draft him in the first round at any position if I was a GM. He'll be your average stiff Center at best.

As much as I love college basketball, I just cant get into the NBA. Basically once these guys leave school, they are dead to me.

The NBA draft is more boring than the MLB one, and that one happens over the phone

It used to be spectacular because we all knew who the players were. Now it's high schoolers, Europeans, Argentinians, and kids that played a year or so in college.

The Nuggets definately need a shooting guard, not sure who they can take. They'll try to package the 20 and 22nd picks to move up I'm sure.

it's better than the NFL "one pick every 30 mins" draft.

I disagree... they could have one pick every 6 hours and the NFL draft would still be better

A dude on the radio this morning predicted Bogut to be the second coming of Luc Longley. And I can actually see that coming to fruition. As much as I think Bogut is the safer pick, I'd rather the Bucks go with Marvin Williams.

As a Bucks fan this really sucks...the year they win the lottery there's shit to pick from.
