I sent a letter to Nike today when I heard that they are back to using Kobe Bryant to advertise.

Dear Nike,

I just found out that you decided to continue using Kobe Bryant as a spokesman for your products. As a happy consumer of all types of Nike products I have to say that I am very dissapointed in your decision. Kobe Bryant is a smug, selfish, irresponsible athlete with a poor reputation and questionable conduct in his personal life. Hardly a role model for anyone, especially children. I have to say that I will not purchase any Nike products as long as your company has Kobe Bryant under contract, and will encourage family and friends to do the same. You should really look at the types of athletes you have endorsing your products and not base your decisions soley on athletic ability.

Sincerely,

Iverson doesn't work for nike, and he has been a model citizen the last 2 years.

I've boycotted Nike for years simply because they make shitty shoes.

you could say the same things about MJ, Barkley, and MANY other athletes who endorse Nike.

Its true, but I hate Kobe, always have. Just an excuse to write a letter to Nike....maybe they will send me some free stuff.
