i'm pissed that he left. they could've stayed one more year and just rolled over everybody.but they do have 4 of the top freshman coming in. i think my anger is mainly over how freaking good duke is going to be next year. but don't get me wrong, seeing them win the title was one the the best days i've had this year.

fair enough.
what would you have done if you were one of them? you'd have a guaranteed nba contract on the table after being a 1st round pick, or asking your buds for a few bucks each to order pizza at college?

they made the right decision... all 4 of 'em... sure, it would have been great for us fans to get to enjoy another title, but these kids had to do what was best for themselves... and they all did... all lottery selections... and they put the program right back at the top... cant you wait at least one year for another run at a title?... hell, we had to wait 12 in between the last two... one or two years wont be so bad

i guess i can wait a couple of years and they'll be right back in there. but money is'nt a issue with may.his family is loaded with money. williams and felton? ok they needed money, but at the same time it's not like these schools DON'T take care of them.i'm pretty sure that whatever they wanted they go it.

May's stock was never going higher. He made the right decision for himself, and UNC will reap the rewards in subsequent years from his salary, just ask the alumni office.
You have Roy Williams, and a hell of a lot of good players, don't write them off, they could be just as special.

are your friends Duke fans? If they are give them shit about that goon Shavlik Randolph. Yeah, I bet he made the grades to get into dook.
how can they give you shit? They got the hardware.
That's just like the people that want to discredit Tom Brady.
name me a team that has a winning tradition and fans that dont annoy the opposition?
Wait, so this obligates these fans to be annoying assholes?
let's try again...
maybe it's the fact that they beat your team every year, or the simple fact that your teams suck, accomplishing little, and you get envious...
and then again, maybe all tarheel, dookie, yankee, bosox, and patriot fans are just obnoxious assholes
edit: i dont mean you personally, just people like you who may not root for the elite programs or what have you
As a Cowboys fan I know that usually, when your team wins, you become obnoxious... you can't place the blame on the fans of the winning team for being assholes and you can't really place it on the fans of the losing teams either... it's a little bit of both... it's natural that when your team wins, you want to gloat a little bit... it happens. When you mix that with fans of losing teams thinking "damn, why couldn't my team do that," it's a shitty mix. I myself hate being an ass when my team wins so I'm usually cognisant of that, but most are not.
