I just ordered a double feature on this iMovies thing because I just wanted to see Field of Dreams... well the catch is that the movie 'The Babe' is in front of it, meaning you have to watch it first... lemme tell you, this is by far the worst sports movie I've ever seen.

I guess it's fitting that I've never heard of it, but John Goodman is the worst Babe Ruth they could have possibly found. Not only is he fatter than the Babe was (by about 50 pounds) but his likeness to Babe (which isn't that great in the first place) has got to be the only reason he was cast. They maybe showed 10 minutes of on-field stuff (and not one mention of his pitching abilities, may I add) while the rest was about a shittily done plot, revolving around shitty acting by dumbasses who have no business being around a sports movie. No character development, no plot... nothing of interest in this entire movie, actually. I took personal exception to this movie because Babe Ruth is the best baseball player to ever live and has such an aura around his accomplishments... if I knew nothing about the Babe going into this movie, I would think he was a shitty baseball player. Pisses me off... I need to find this director and hit him in the face.

I guess I'll go watch Field of Dreams now... now THERE'S a baseball movie.

For The Love of The Game.

I walked out of that movie and played video games for 15 minutes. I returned to my seat and asked my g/f if we could leave, she said no. :?

Can't remember the name. It was a baseball one with Kevin Costner in the lead role.

That narrows it down to 20 thousand.

Major League 3 back in training

also, major league 2 was pretty stupid. that last scene where Vaughn insists on walking the lead run just so he can face Parkman may be the dumbest sports movie scene ever. Nothing like a little reality in these flicks huh.

and I can watch Replacements over and over, but the football situations in that movie are so far from reality it has to be pointed out every time I see it.

Wow, this is a great thread. There are so many choices. I second whoever said Caddyshack 2. I had a surreal conversation with my brother about it yesterday, because apparently it was on(my brother NEVER talks by the way)

my brother:"you ever seen Caddyshack2?"
me: "sure"
my brother:"it really sucks"
me: "yup"

I saw a golf movie about Bobby Jones last week that had Jim Cavelzel(sp?), that movie was pretty boring. Mr. Baseball with Tom Selleck isn't berry, oh, sorry very good. The last three "Rocky" movies stunk.

WHAT?!?!? You didn't go to the strip club when you were in high school to see your uber hot but seemingly conservative English teacher there?
